Wedding Party

Kali Hofman

Maid of Honor

We met our junior year of high school. She was the new girl at school. I first noticed her during cheer/drill team practice. She stuck out like a sore thumb because She was wearing a different practice uniform than everyone else. I remember everyone whispering and wondering who she was. Turns out we had history together as well and of course we sat next to each other. Our teacher was the baseball coach which means we hardly did any actual school work so we had a lot of down time to talk. That’s where we hit it off and became best friends. We have grown up together over the past 10 years. We have been through so much and have made so many memories together. Alexis is the most caring and selfless person I know and I am so lucky to have her as my best friend. I am so happy I get to stand by her side and watch her marry the man of her dreams.

Logan Jones

Best Man

I first met Parker a long time ago. It was a cool fall morning as my parents were taking 3-year-old me for a drive by the lake. Along the way we passed by a creek. It was there where something caught my dad’s eye, a good-sized fish was walking along the bank of the creek. Being the outdoor man he is, my dad had to stop and take a look at the miraculous fish that had decided a life in the water wasn’t good enough. As we got closer, we noticed that it wasn’t the fish that was walking. Instead, it was a 6-year-old boy carrying the fish that was about as big as he was. My mom, always wanting to capture memories for her future self to look back on on the still to come “Social Media”, decided to take a picture of the boy and his fish. My dad wanted the fish and my mom wanted the boy, so we took in the boy. He’s been called my brother ever since. All kidding aside, Parker is my older brother whom I have always looked up to and I am very proud to walk by his side in our adult lives.

Bridesmaid

Alexis reached out for me to do her hair and boy did we do some hair! Little did we know we were starting a life long friendship. We bonded over families, dinners and drinks, ex boyfriends, life goals and all. Through happy tears and sad we’ve stuck by each other.

Brandon Marris

Groomsman

Twas a swell fall day back in 2008, just another easy going school day for a scholar like myself. When finally it was time for baseball. That was when i saved a tall skinny bag of bones from getting swept away in a big gust of wind. After weighing down his cleats that’s when i came to find out his name was Parker. I came to take him under my wing and show him all of his baseball knowledge and skill, i was also kind enough to take him home from practice to further his baseball knowledge, also because the fall can be very gusty and being 130 pounds would make a tough trek home for him. It also may have been because he lived on the same street as i. From that day forward a friendship was struck and it’s been like a movie ever since.

Bridesmaid

Alexis and I first met almost six years ago through mutual acquaintances. She was incredibly kind and treated me like a friend immediately. We stayed in touch over the years and became closer in the last two years. She was one of the reasons I moved to Texas and had amazing experiences there with her! She has grown to be an amazing friend to me that I am blessed to have! I’m incredibly happy for her and Parker! I am blessed to be a part of their special day and cannot wait to see their relationship flourish! Best wishes to the awesome couple!!!

BJ Tieben

Groomsman

I first met Parker while we were playing baseball together at Dodge City Community College. I didn’t know anyone on the team at the time coming in as a freshman. On our first day of fall baseball practice our freshman year, I was sitting in the dugout when a guy turned to me and said “hey, I’m Parker Jones” ever since that day Parker became one of my life long friends. We have been through several baseball games together while at playing at Dodge City but even as we both moved on to different colleges to continue playing baseball Parker and I stayed in touch. We have been on hunting trips together and he was even a groomsman in my own Wedding. I’m a very excited for Parker and very honored to call him a life long friend!
