Question

Is there a shuttle service to take guests to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

YES! Please refer to the Accommodations tab for more information! There will be a timeline printed off and set up on the bar at the venue to remind our guests of the times the trolley will be starting the drop-offs back at the hotels. Is there a seating chart for the dinner/reception?

NOPE! Please sit wherever you please, just leave the reserved tables for our immediate family :)

Can we bring in any outside alcohol?

Answer

NO!! Per the venue, they DO NOT allow any outside alcohol on their property. The venue will have a fully stocked bar to order drinks from.

How late does the dance go?

Answer

The dance will end at 11:15 PM due to the county regulations in Spearfish. The county requires the venue to be locked up by 12:00 AM. Therefore, all guests need to leave the property by 11:30 PM so that the clean-up crew can wipe down tables and clean the floors as well as give the DJ time to pack up. Since our wedding is on a Friday, there will most likely be another wedding the day after, so everything needs to be cleaned up and ready for the next happy couple to get in right away the next morning for setup and decoration!

Can vehicles be left in the venue's parking lot?

Answer

YES! The staff at The Barn allow guests to leave their vehicles in the parking lot overnight, so long as that NO ONE sleeps in their vehicle. The staff will check all vehicles left in the parking lot before they leave for the night to make sure no one is still on their property. They just ask that the vehicles are picked up at a reasonable time the next day.
