Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Alexis Cook and Jordan Isham
We're so excited to celebrate our special day in such a lovely location! Jordan grew up on the Isham Family Farm, originally his grandparents' dairy farm and now a state-wide agri-tourism attraction (you may have recently seen Grandma and Grandpa Isham in the Netflix documentary "My Love"). We've listed a few things you can do while visiting. We hope you'll enjoy the beautiful state as much as you enjoy our wedding!
Church Street

Church Street

Church Street, Burlington, VT 05401

A Vermont must-see!! Stroll Church Street Marketplace at any time of day for a great experience. The marketplace has a little bit of everything in the heart of downtown Burlington. Church Street is only four blocks long, but it forms a wide, traffic-free space for public events and a lively street life. Along with the festivals scheduled throughout the year, it's a place for sidewalk cafes, benches, and public artworks, and the buildings alongside it are filled with shops, restaurants, and boutiques. In the summer, when everyone is outdoors, it has the feel of an Italian piazza. You can stay close to the action, only a block away at the Hotel Vermont. This hip, modern inn has a local community ethic and lovely views of Lake Champlain from its upper-floor guest rooms.

Isham Family Farm

Isham Family Farm

3515 Oak Hill Road, Williston, VT 05495
, (802) 872-1525

This is where we're getting married! The Isham Family Farm has been in the family for 5 generations. When you visit in October, there will be pumpkins, a corn maze, and hay rides galore. Bring your camera for the scenery! Only 15 minutes from downtown Burlington and Lake Champlain, yet nestled in the beautiful mountains outside of the city, the farm makes you feel like a country soul. Come back and visit in the summer when we have blueberries, farmers' markets, and festivals. Or come in the winter for Christmas trees and pure VT maple syrup. *Special Note*: For those who will still be in the area on Sunday (October 10th), we would love for you to join us for the Fall Festival at the farm anytime from 12-5pm. There will be vendors, live music, hayrides, and other fall festivities.
