The funniest part of this photo is that Jordan can go through Ranger School without breaking a sweat but can't seem to handle the thought of champagne on his pants.

Alexis still calls this one of the best days of her life. This was taken on a "cocktail cruise" in Hawaii, and honestly what's better than free food, drinks, and music in the middle of the ocean?

There is no sense of awe, power, and fear quite like cooking a Thanksgiving turkey.

At Jordan's grandparents' 60th anniversary. There's actually a Netflix documentary about their love coming out shortly. Oh yeah, and Jerry from Ben & Jerry's was there and served Alexis ice cream.

Jordan still calls this one of the best days of his life. Turns out, he's a huge horse guy. He kept making his horse run, to the dismay of our guide.

We are constantly making each other laugh.

We threw a Halloween costume party and then won our own contest. Introducing Cinderella and Prince Charming.

This was Jordan's true intro to the Cooks. While battling on the lake, Jordan dislocated his shoulder and got anesthesia in an ambulance. A few hours later, we said "I love you" for the first time.

Alexis threw Jordan a surprise, Christmas-themed birthday party in September, knowing he would miss the holiday while on deployment.

Just like in the movies, Jordan won Alexis a stuffed animal at the county fair.

This was one of our first dates. We met halfway between Nashville and Clarksville and went on a run before laying out a picnic. Best of all, Jordan made all of Alexis' favorite foods in front of her.
