It was in a Thursday evening History class that Alexis and Jerad met. Alexis would call her mom every Thursday, walking to class, telling her about how she was going to see the “Cute Boy” that night. Jerad had always made sure to show up late to class and leave as fast as he could, to avoid the nerves of talking to the “Cute Girl” sitting next to him. Jerad and Alexis went on the first of many dates on December 4, 2017 (Jerad initiated the date!). They began by grabbing some food at the local Ruby Tuesdays, where Jerad awkwardly talked-shouted and Alexis fiddled with plastic straw wrappers in her lap all night. “Chopped, Tossed or in a Baguette?” was what the server asked when Alexis ordered a salad. It is now a running joke between the two. The rest, as they say, is history... On Friday, October 12, 2018, Jerad popped the question at Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville.
