Flight
The closest airport to our venue is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, which is about 15-20 minute drive to downtown Austin. While we do have great public transportation in Austin, our venue is about 45 minutes northwest of Austin. It might be worth it to rent a car, if you'd like to explore the area.

This historic hotel is about 20 miles from the venue, and located right next to Lake LBJ. It is in Kingland, TX, down the street from where we and the wedding party will be staying. What we love about this location is it's history. The hotel was built in 1901 and stands at the location of an old train station. There are hotel rooms, cabins, and even remodeled train cabooses that you can book for the weekend! Right next door is the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre house, which has been turned into a restaurant/bar. If you tell them you are with the Guilbeau/Pearson wedding, they will apply a 10% discount to your rate.

Located on the lake in Kingsland, TX, this resort has several options to choose from of all sizes. You can rent out a condo, a hotel-style room, an entire condo, or even a parking spot for your RV, if you're into that kinds of thing. There is swim access to the lake, and during the summertime, they will have a Water Trampoline! Reach out to them directly - AND QUICKLY, as they will book up quickly.

Located right on LBJ Lake, this is the perfect place to treat our wedding like a resort vacation! Three pools, and sand beach, golf, and all the water activities you can think of. It is located about 20 miles from the venue.

Travel Note
If you decide to travel around and explore downtown Austin while you are here, we highly recommend using public transportation or rideshares. Parking is very hard to find, especially on the weekends, and can be expensive when you find it. We recommend taking the MetroRail into town. There are Park n' Rides available throughout the northside of Austin, and the train is very comfortable. It costs $3.50 each way and drops in the center of Downtown Austin.
Rental Car
We recommend a rental car if you are flying into Austin. If you decide to get a rental car, we do have a discount code for our wedding through Hertz. Book with 01PW0040 when making the reservation.
