Old Town Scottsdale is literally steps away from The Saguaro Hotel and is filled with so many shops that are uniquely Scottsdale. There are also lots of restaurants and bars in the area.
There are plenty of great golf courses throughout Scottsdale, but if you'd like a sneak peek at our venue, this is the place to go.
If you're a more casual golfer (and like good food and drinks), Topgolf is a great activity for all ages!
For those who like to gamble, Talking Stick Resort and is about 10 minutes from The Saguaro. It's also located right next to Topgolf.
If you're staying for a few days, you have to hike one of Phoenix/Scottsdale's many trails. Camelback Mountain is the most famous, and the back drop for our big day. Other popular hikes are Piestewa Peak, Papago Mountain and South Mountain. Or if you feel like taking a drive, you can hike the Superstition Mountains (about 45 minutes away), which is where we took our engagement pictures. Be sure to bring lots of water no matter where you go!
If you've heard Scottsdale referred to as "Scotts-Vegas" this is the area they were talking about. Alexis' favorite bar is Bevvy because they play 90s and early 2000s music. El Hefe and Whiskey Row are also fun options.
You can't come to Arizona and not have tacos. This place is one of Alexis' favorites - and is very Instagram-friendly :)
Christopher's favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. This is a great place for weekend brunch!
Bruschetta boards and wine....do we need to say more?
The Sugar Bowl is the cutest, and one of the oldest, Scottsdale institutions. Stop by for ice cream, shakes...and more really cute pics for Instagram.
