Anywho, we found out we were neighbors which led to 5ish years of walkin to school, loads of late nights at 59 diner, and just general hanging out. Without Mitchell's outgoing and welcoming nature I'd probably remain underneath a rock for a majority of those years. A great guy, and a great friend.

Cullen has always* made me feel welcome and comfortable when Alexis and I were visiting. Whether having topical conversations or watching Cullen walk the family though some wacky hypothetical, I always enjoy hanging out with this guy. He is a funny, smart, and competitive, which is always a joy to be around. *The first couple times I was fairly intimidated by this guy, but that might have something to do with him being twice my size.

My older brother has always been a great guy to have play games together, from the earliest days of playing Poseidon to the latest games of Dominion. Sasha holds interests in all the things I only marginally understand, while I hold interests in the things he only tangentially appeal to him. Nonetheless! When we get together, we enjoy sharing the world from our different perspectives. Always a laugh hanging out with Sasha, always something interesting to talk about.

Michael and I are the types of guys to sit though half a semester of Partial Differential Equations without speaking a single word to each other, up until Michael happened to overhear me discussing Aerospace Engineering and the rest was history. Michael is a diligent friend and his attention to detail acts as a constant reminder that you are probably neglecting some important detail. In all seriousness, Michael is a fun guy, up for craft beer and games, up for space news.

Arian is a deceivingly fun guy to be around, although he may try to convince you otherwise. While he may not realize it, when I first met Arian I considered him my mentor. He lived a type of no nonsense desire to learn that very much drew me into the research program that would further shape my professional skills. A great teammate, and a great guy to enjoy engineering with, that is, whenever paperwork isn't blocking our way.

Alexis - he was a critical part of me and Christian's relationship. This guy had to endure sitting at the bar with me countless times as I quizzed him on whether he thought Christian liked me. He was incredibly supportive and he's a wonderful person. I'm so glad he encouraged me to join the VLF team and I'm very lucky to have met such a smart and hilarious person. Christian - Samar is a smart and ambitious guy, who is always down for either an evening of laughs, or some engineering. Apparently for a little bit there he was some kind of double agent for Alexis, I don't know, but regardless he was one of the best team mates and friend I will every have. Keep me in mind when you finally start that Aerospace company!
