Dressy Summer Casual

The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors, and our reception in the historic barn! Given that some of our activities/plans may be on soft-ground—please be cognizant of what shoes you plan on wearing! Note on clothing, because I never know what all the terms mean :) Ladies: Sundresses, linen, summery clothes! Wear what you are comfortable in that would be appropriate for Sunday or a ladies' brunch (sundresses, tea dresses, maxi dresses, or flowy pants). Our ladies in the wedding will be wearing maxi linen dresses—feel free to do something similar! It's going to be hot! Men: Prepare for heat! Lean towards light-colored shirts and breathable pants/shorts! We would recommend khakis, light-colored pants/shorts, linen—find something that will keep you from overheating for 4-6 hours outdoors in the summer! Above are just suggestions—we are not super particular, but do try to be comfortable in the heat! Please try not to wear: White (ladies), blue jeans, athletic clothing.
