We have chosen the lovely Kingan Gardens as our venue to experience the lovely lush outdoors with the amenities of everything in town. The venue is primarily outdoors, with a few available indoor spaces for quiet, rain cover, and food service. 2024 was unseasonably warm, but as we cannot predict the weather, we are hoping for a cool evening and will provide blankets for our easily chilled guests (though dancing and alcohol can solve that too!) The gardens are mostly handicap accessible, and multiple restrooms are provided throughout the venue. There are brick and cobblestone paths that can be occasionally uneven, please consider this in your choice of footwear. Lawn games will also be provided during reception for those that have two left feet but one good corn-hole throw.
Think Formal. Consider the aesthetic blend of the Golden Age of Hollywood and Cottagecore. We want to really enjoy the glamorous event that our wedding can be, beyond uncomfortable prom dresses of our youth. But we are not aiming for a black and white affair, we love color and want people to wear what they enjoy! We prefer nice dresses, dress pants and button downs - absolutely no holey jeans. Full suit jackets and ties are not required but appreciated. They are liable to come off during the reception anyways. No t-shirts or flip flops. But not even the brides will be crazy enough to wear stilettos.
We love kids and they are included in our headcount! Children from our family will even be involved in the wedding. However, this is an evening event with food, booze, lights, and music, so if they would be overstimulated I would recommend finding alternative accommodations for them. Please note if they will need a separate meal at dinner or if you will provide your own.
Please note any allergies when responding to the invitations. Some food will be safe, but not all. Warning signs will be provided at meal tables.
A parking lot is provided for up to 40 cars, so most guests will be able to park there. We request you have either a designated driver or take a ride share if you will be enjoying alcohol with us. As our wedding starts around 5 pm, there may not be free street parking when you arrive, but once 5 o'clock hits, all Tucson downtown street parking is free.
We love you all and are very excited to share our wedding experience, if you have extensive questions about the wedding, we have set up a specific email: alexis.and.brittney2025@gmail.com that you can shoot a message to anytime.
