Travel & Lodging

Please see below for some recommendations for travel and lodging on the island. Thank you! How to get from US to Paros: There are no direct flights to Paros, so it is best to fly into Athens (ATH), and either take a ferry or another small flight from Athens to Paros. Brett & Alexis are taking the Emirites flight at 11:55 PM on 9/9 from EWR to ATH Option 1 = Ferry: The ferry from the Piraeus port typically takes between 2.5 and 5 hours, and the ferry from the Rafina port typically takes between 3 and 6 hours. While prices range, they are typically between 80 and 120 Euro round trip. TIP - Ferry Hopper is an excellent website/ app to book ferry tickets through! Option 2 = Flight: The flight from ATH to PAS typically takes less than 40 minutes, but may range a bit more in price than the ferries. Prices are often higher between $100 - $200 round trip from ATH to PAS. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Brett & Alexis if you have any questions or concerns Text or call: 610-585-3913

Hotel

Anna Platanou Suites

This is a hotel option that is within walking distance of the villa where the wedding will take place. Please note that only the SUITES of the Anna Platanou Hotel & Suites are located next to the villa - the hotel is on the other side of the island.

Hotel

Sunset Pounda, Studio & Apartments

This small bnb has a few rooms, but is also a quick walk away from the villa where the wedding will take place. This place is a very affordable option, steps away from the beach!

Hotel

Paros Butterfly Villas

This option is a short drive away from where the wedding will take place, and offers a more secluded, romantic feel.

Rental Car

Paros Drive

While rates will be dependent on the vehicles/ mode of transportation chosen, this is the company we are going with! Feel free to mention that you received the recommendation from us. We recommend that everyone rent a vehicle because public transportation on the island is limited & taxi services are very expensive. If you are planning on being the driver, we recommend getting an international drivers permit at your local AAA (it is about $35) - it is not always required, but makes it much easier to rent a vehicle from anywhere.

Travel Note

Location of Ceremony & Reception

This is where the ceremony and reception will take place - only the wedding party will be staying onsite. However, there are a number of small hotels, villas, and bnbs nearby that we recommend below, as well as where to get transportation on the island. Thank you!
