This one might be obvious, but yes! You will need your passport to travel from the US to Greece, so please remember to bring that with you (and check the expiration date of your passport in advance - you are not allowed to fly if the expiry date is within 6 months of when you want to fly).
If coming from the US, it is best to fly into Athens (ATH), and either take a ferry from the Piraeus port or Rafina port to the Paros port, or take another small flight from ATH to the Paros airport. Please look at the "Travel" tab for more information, and don't hesitate to reach out to Brett & Alexis if you have any questions or concerns regarding how to get to the island.
Paros is absolutely beautiful in September! With an average low of 68 and an average high of 80, we are hoping that the weather will be pleasant both during the day and in the evenings.
We hope to take advantage of the beautiful mediteranian weather, so both the ceremony & reception will be outside.
While we will be providing hotel, bnb, and villa recommendations nearby in coming months (some that are within walking distance of the villa where some of the wedding festivities will be taking place), if you want to get ahead on your planning, please look near the Pounta area in Paros to stay nearby!
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults. Thank you for understanding!
We are planning on starting festivities on the afternoon of September 11th and wrapping up festivities on the 14th (with the wedding on 9/13), so we would love to see you at all events! But we also want this to feel like your own vacation, so don't feel pressured to attend everything. We are just looking for soft RSVPs for the wedding day itself, so no need to figure everything out now - we will send RSVPs for each event at a later date.
Because we are asking our loved ones to travel half way across the world for us, your presence is truly our present!
