Please RSVP online by April 12th. We will only take online RSVP's, please do not mail us back your RSVP. You can RSVP here on our wedding website under the "RSVP" tab. You can also scan the QR code on the enclosure of your invite to be taken to the website.
Our ceremony begins at 4:00pm so we recommend arriving around 3:30pm to have enough time to park, mingle and take a seat before we begin!
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our special day! Dress code is semi-formal attire. You can wear floor-length, midi or tea-length semi-formal dresses. You can also wear a suit and tie, or if you prefer slacks, and a sports coat with a tie. We ask that our guests don't wear any denim or bright reds :)
The ceremony and following social hour will be held outside in a beautiful garden (so there will be some grass! Be careful with stiletto heels). We will be having the reception indoors.
You may have noticed an instruction on our wedding invitation not to wear perfume, cologne or other strong fragrances. The bride has a significant allergy to chemicals found in perfumes, colognes, and other things that contain the ingredients "parfume" "fragrance" and "parabens". To say the least, being in an indoor venue with numerous people wearing fragrances would be extremely unpleasant (and potentially painful) for the bride. Please leave your fancy fragrances at home so the bride doesn't have to keep her epipen in her dress.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
There is abundant parking for our guests at our venue! When you arrive to Sugar Pine Barn you will follow the signs for the wedding and drive under the beautiful wooden arch where there is a gravel parking lot behind the barn.
We do! We have hotel blocks reserved at a few hotels around Richland. You can see those on our Travel page on our website.
We will not be providing transportation to and from the events. There is more information on the Travel page of our website.
May in eastern Washington is a bit of a gamble, but if we're lucky it is usually the most beautiful time of year. I would check the weather for Benton City, WA and Richland, WA. the week of the event, as we do live in a desert so the weather changes frequently and is not always accurately predicted.
We will be serving light appetizers and refreshing drinks during the social hour, followed by a sit down dinner and dessert bar during the reception.
Absolutely! We have a section in our online RSVP where you can add any specific concerns or requests for your meal. We will have many gluten free options for our guests as well.
Yes! We will be providing wine from Tucannon Cellars, beer from our favorite local craft brewery, cider, and many non-alcoholic drinks.
We ask that our guests do not bring any of their own alcohol intended to be drank that evening to our wedding. This includes wine or champagne. Our venue only allows wine provided by the winery and beer, no hard liquor. Guests that bring in alcohol of any kind will risk getting kicked out by the venue, or at worse, risk our deposit.
We hired an amazing professional photographer to document our special day so you don't have to! We would love you all to be present during our ceremony and ask that your phone stays off and put away.
We appreciate your generosity and wanting to gift to us! We love experiences over things and have listed multiple experiences we would love to be gifted for our honeymoon You can see those listed on our registry under the "Registry" tab. If you still would prefer a physical gift, there are a few selected items we would love to have on the registry. We have lived on our own for 10+ years, so there is little that we need. Kindly consider buying from the registry so there are not duplicates.
