Can we bring kids?
Answer
We would love for your little ones to join us for this special week! Children under 2 stay for free at the hotel and kids ages 3 to 15 years will be charged 25% of the nightly package price and include everything listed therein plus additional bedding. Family of 4 will be assigned to an ocean suite with one king size bed and two built in couch bases. The couch will be replaced with a twin size mattress with bedding. Tax and 15% tip will be added. $690.35 USD

When to RSVP by?

June 10th 2026. We are encouraging everyone to book their rooms as soon as you receive the invitation. Your credit cards will NOT be charged until after you check out on Sunday November 29, 2026. The room booking will simply be a hold and a way for the venue to count your RSVP.

My passport is expiring within less than 6 months of the wedding date, should I update my passport?
Answer
Yes, majority of countries don't allow traveller's entry if their passport expires within 6 months of the travel date.

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
We know traveling isn't easy so we've decided having you there celebrating with us is the best gift we could possibly ask for. So your presence is more than enough. However we will be doing the traditional Filipino Prosperity/Money Dance, where you can support the couple by pinning money on the bride and groom. It symbolizes wishes for prosperity, good fortune, and financial stability for the new couple.

Please provide us time of when you're flight will arrive and we will accommodate. There will be certain times the shuttle service will be available throughout the day. We will send more information when the time comes.

When is hotel check in and out time?
Answer
Official check in time is 4 PM, but guests can arrive as early as 12 PM and if their room isn’t ready, the hotel will hold their luggage for them. Although, it will most likely be ready for them. Checkout is 11am from the rooms and 1pm from the property.

What is the local currency and do they accept credit cards?

The local currency is pesos. Many local businesses will accept USD and credits cards are widely accepted in major hotels and restaurants (Playa Fiesta accepts Mastercard and Visa). Be mindful that you may incur international charges depending on your bank

YES! We are near the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta which has several beaches and restaurants to explore. Additionally, Hotel Playa Fiesta can help to arrange/recommend guided tours including zip lining tours, ATV tours, whale watching, tequila tasting, snorkeling etc.

Check your wireless plan before you head down to see what your plan has you set up for. The wedding hotel (and most restaurants) offer Wi-Fi.

Mexico has the same electrical outlets as Canada. No adapters are needed

Do I need to bring a hair dryer?
Answer
The front desk has 15 hair dryers so if guests need one daily it's best to pack one and bring it along.

Is there a gym at Playa Fiesta?
Answer
There is no gym onsite however, the hotel two doors down allows our guests to use their gym for no additional charges. All you will need to do is get a business card from our front desk and bring it with you to hotel "Costa Sur" and let them know you are staying with us for a wedding.
