Erica POV: We met through Bumble, a dating app. I was 30 minutes late for our first date because I got caught with a client when I was working at Telus back in the day. I almost didn't go because of how late I was. I went and it was at a cafe across metrotown mall in Burnaby. I was literally wearing my telus uniform for our first date and he was so dressed up haha. We ordered a mango belgian waffle to share, it was delicious. I was so talkative during our first date because I was nervous for being late (great first impression haha) and I found him to be pretty quiet(definitely not LOL). When we said bye (he was wearing a leather jacket), and I saw that it was pretty ripped up around the collar hahaha I was like he is the one. Alexi POV: We met through Bumble, and I would like to point out that she had to make the first move and did she ever, with a strong and straight forward "Hi". We chatted and discovered we had a lot in common, from gaming to our love for nature, it became apparent to me that she was very easy to talk to. When we agreed to go on a first date, it was at a small cafe near Metrotown. She was late, but I thought I was getting stood up. I've never been stood up on a date before and was starting to get nervous, but when she showed up in her Telus uniform and apologized for being late and we sat down, I didn't even remember she was late. We chatted quite a bit, or rather she chatted quite a bit haha, but it felt to me very down to earth and real. After the date, I remember Eri offered a handshake, but I asked for a hug. I wasn't going to let this one get away.
