John Wayne Airport (SNA): Closest & easiest. Located about 12 miles from Huntington Beach with an average drive of 20–25 minutes. It’s ideal for most domestic travelers, but more expensive than LAX. Los Angeles International (LAX): Best for international guests. Located about 37 miles away, the drive usually takes 45–90 minutes depending on traffic. LAX offers the widest range of global and domestic flights. Long Beach Airport (LGB): Great alternative to SNA. It’s about 15 miles from Huntington Beach, with a typical drive of 25–35 minutes. LGB is small, calm, and easy to navigate, perfect for domestic travelers who want the same low‑stress experience as SNA. San Diego International Airport (SAN): An alternative to LAX for certain international routes. It’s farther — roughly 90+ miles with a 1.5–2 hour drive — but it’s a modern, efficient airport and a good option for guests pairing the trip with time in San Diego.
