Jim Beam Nature Preserve

Our venue is attached to the Jim Beam Nature Preserve. Access breathtaking trails (from our venue or the preserve trailheads) through the Kentucky River Palisades. Kentucky River Palisades are a 450-million-year-old ecosystem consisting of limestone cliffs, deep gorges, springs, and an intricate cave system.

Luna's Coffee, Wine, and Butterfly Cafe

Delicious cafe with amazing butterfly house and plant nursery! Luna's is the result of a foodie couple (entomologist husband, professor of agriculture wife) who shared their passion with the community. Have a bite to eat or a drink, and then hang out in the butterfly house to receive all the butterfly kisses from a myriad of native butterfly species.

Waveland State Historic Site

Attractions: -Ghost hunts/paranormal tours: Certain areas of Waveland are thought to be a paranormal center, haunted by the ghosts of the deceased plantation slaves. - Mansion & grounds tours (antebellum mansion, slave quarters, smoke house, ice house, gardens). - Meals & Teas served in period specific costume - Museum Historical: Waveland (also called Joseph Bryan House) is a greek revival antebellum mansion & plantation (now a KY state park) that belonged to the Joseph Bryan family, who followed Daniel Boone through the Cumberland Gap and became early settlers and horsemen of the region.
