International Rose Garden
The International Rose Test Garden is a rose garden in Washington Park in Portland, Oregon. There are over 10,000 rose bushes of approximately 650 varieties. Walk the gardens and take in beautiful views of Portland and the surrounding mountains.
Tin Shed Garden Cafe
Looking for brunch? Check out the Tin Shed on Alberta St. It's a bit of wait, but worth it. So plan to put your name on the list, grab a coffee, and walk along Alberta Street's many shops and galleries.

Unofficially known as "Trendy Third", shop, eat, and drink on NW 23rd at some local favorites. Be sure to stop in Salt & Straw for some amazing and unique ice cream flavors!

Exploring Vancouver? Start at Thatcher's, a Herkert family favorite. Get a coffee to-go and walk the Vancouver Waterfront trail along the Columbia River and make your way downtown.
Voodoo Doughnut
Keeping Portland weird, Voodoo Doughnuts has some of the best and weirdest doughnut options. Highly recommend as a late night snack. (You can't go wrong with an Old Dirty Bastard...) Just remember, good things come in pink boxes.

Only open in the Spring and Summer months, the Vancouver Farmer's Market is a favorite of Paul and Alex. Here you'll find local food, wines, and trinkets while walking near downtown shops and restaurants.

Feeling adventurous and looking for a good sushi restaurant? Look no further than Sushi Mo. This place has colorful rolls and tons of flavor. If sushi isn't necessarily your "thing", you can head over to Thai Orchid across the street to get a little more variety while still getting great sushi.
