We're Getting Married!

Lance and Alex’s story began back in high school. It continued on throughout college where they both went to Iowa State University together, there it grew into a love that neither of them saw coming—but now couldn’t imagine life without. We’ve grown up together in so many ways — through different phases of life, countless laughs, and everything in between. Lance is the laid-back gamer, Alex is the book-loving dreamer, and together they balance each other in the best of ways. In 2019, we added one more to our little crew: our sweet pup Ember, who stole both our hearts (and a few socks too). Then came the surprise — in 2024, we went on a cruise where Alex was convinced that Lance would propose. The night Alex thought Lance was going to propose he didn't and Alex was devastated. Instead the next day as we were getting ready for the day Lance got down on one knee and asked Alex to marry her, surprising her. Of course she said yes! Now, after years of memories, love, and growth, we’re so excited to finally tie the knot — and to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with all of you by our side.
