When driving from Portland to Hood River, you will be driving through the Columbia River Gorge -- which has many amazing views/hikes. Wine tasting in Willamette Valley
Things to know about Willamette Valley wine: - About 40 minutes outside of Portland. There are a lot of wineries, which are very spread out (not ideal for walking). - Wineries we have been to and loved: Torii mor, Resonance - Others with good recommendations: Soter, Penner Ash, Sokol Blosser. Look online, you really can't go wrong! - Red Hills Market for lunch * If you aren't up for making the long trip all the way to WV, check out Amaterra winery in Portland!
