When Jared moved to Elk Rapids he decided that he was going to be friends with the coolest kids he could find... We are still trying to figure out how he ended up with Alex! This gentle giant is always the life of the party and is truly one of the best men Rach and Alex have both had the pleasure of calling best friend... But watch out he's likely to have a stash of fireball on him and he's not afraid to use it!

Alyssa is Rachel's animal loving bestie from high school who always gives the best advice. Rach goes to her for everything except help with math as they both learned just how bad they could be at something when they took college algebra together. *Spoiler alert* they both passed.
Eric Bethke

Eric is Alex's older, but less cool, brother. All jokes aside, Eric has the biggest heart and an even bigger love for picking on his soon-to-be-sister-in-law. In typical Bethke style, he's always down for adventure and loves spending time with his beautiful wife Ashley who passed down all of the cute genes to their daughter Hannah.

Mariah and Rachel became close when they both donned fluorescent colored pants for their job as Dylan's Candy Bar - Candy Girls. They scooped ice cream, filled candy bins, and learned that retail customer service is the actual worst. Mariah loves the Red Wings and her dog Hank but not as much as she loves her favorite friend Rach!

Alex and Jimmy have managed to stay friends since middle school and have too many crazy memories to count but perhaps the most important thing that came out of this friendship is Jimmy getting Rach and Al the hookup for their dog Crew! The bride and groom are beyond thrilled that Jimmy and his wife Andrea have moved back to Michigan for more epic adventures.

When Rachel moved to East Lansing she decided that the best way to find roommates was on craigslist... This momentary lapse in judgement led her to Dana! Dana was often the "mom" of apartment but can also be found in the middle of a dance circle at the bar. She may even bust out the splits after a cocktail or two!
Brendan Tully

When Brendan and Alex were in the 8th grade, they decided that it would be fun to create a fire maze for cars to drive through on the highway... Of course they tried to run from law enforcement but unfortunately for them, they were quickly caught. However no amount of community service could keep these two apart. Let's just hope they stay away from all things flammable during wedding weekend!

As another one of Rachel's college roommates, Michaela and Rachel became fast friends however there was one thing that came between them... Michaela's cat Goose. Rach hated Goose and the feeling was clearly mutual. Luckily, the girls were able to maintain a great friendship... as long as Goose keeps to himself.

Andy might be one of Alex's closest friends but he was also Rachel's first high school crush and he won't ever let her forget it! He is a great friend but he's an even better farmer and dog dad. If you find yourself killing time in Elk Rapids make sure to visit Interwater Farms and ask how you can eat more local fruit!

Colleen is Rachel's sister through marriage but friend by choice. It's hard to tell who is sassier but it is clear that these two have so much love for each other. Col is a fantastic addition to the Weatherwax clan due to her quick wit and ability to make absolutely adorable children.

Clay and Alex became friends-at-first-sight when they stepped out of their cars and discovered they both drove Subarus. They would eventually live together until Rachel moved in and killed the bachelor pad vibes. He is one of the bride and grooms favorite people and is sure to make everyone around him smile!

Brandon was the first friend Alex made in Michigan and quickly became close with Rachel as well. He truly is a one in a million friend but let's face it... The bride and groom really keep this financial advisor around in hopes that he will make them millionaires one day! The fact that he is doing double duty as both groomsman and officiant really shows that Rach and Al truly are his favorite people!
