Airport Recommendations
For those flying in from out of town, there are two airports near Fayetteville to choose from: Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) or Fort Smith Regional Airport (FSM). XNA is closer — around a 30 minute drive to Fayetteville — while FSM is around 50 minutes away. Both are relatively small and handle flights from major hubs as well as many direct flights to/from big cities. Rental car services are available at each airport.
