Fayetteville’s historic downtown square is home to lots of local businesses, offering up some shopping, dining, and — on Saturdays — an impressive farmers market with vendors selling flowers, produce, crafts, food, and lots more. In fact, our wedding day is set to be the first outdoor farmers market of the spring.
Around a 30 minute drive south of Fayetteville is the beautiful Devil's Den State Park. It is home to lots of hiking, walking, and biking trails of varying difficulty and length, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Ozark forests, caves, streams, and waterfalls.
Northwest Arkansas has lots of good breweries, and Fayetteville is no exception. We've got at least six in town in case you wanted to taste some of the local brews. Alex's favorites are Crisis Brewing and Fossil Cove Brewing, though you can't go wrong with any of them. If you're willing to take a drive outside town towards the country, Orthodox Brewing makes great beer in with a beautiful outdoor space. Others include Flyway, Mad Rooster, Columbus House, and more!
For those that are able to take a drive a bit north of Fayetteville, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art blends world-class art, architecture, and nature in Bentonville, Arkansas. Guests can explore scenic trails and galleries, with free guided tours available. Well worth the visit!
