Georgina’s walking down the aisle just two weeks before this wedding, but somehow she’s still bringing full Maid of Honor energy. The groom’s brother and built-in best friend, Justin has always been the guy you can count on to tell a hilarious story, make the whole room laugh, and light up any space with that infectious smile (seriously, it’s kind of his superpower). You can usually catch him at Orange Shul on Friday nights, singing his heart out until 3am like he’s headlining a sold-out concert. (Ask to see the video. No, really—ask.) When he's not performing at Shabbat After Hours, he's probably at HiHo with Tyler and their dad, Cliff, enjoying a burger and some brotherly banter. Unless, of course, Cliff's feeling it’s more of a Toscanova or Made in Italy type of night. Either way, Justin shows up with big laughs, big heart, and, as you'll see on the wedding day, big Best Man energy.

Bailey may be Tyler’s younger sister, but don’t let that fool you—she’s holding her own and then some. Following in the legal footsteps of both the bride and groom, she’s currently in law school and has been winning cases in the Umans family court since before she could even talk. When she’s not studying or attending a bar review, you’ll find her on a mission to sample every matcha latte in existence or engaging in her favorite form of stress relief: retail therapy (because, yes, the girl’s got taste). Bailey’s big smile and even bigger personality guarantee perfect vibes all night long!

Tyler’s cousin and fellow law school warrior, Aidan is definitely following in the family footsteps. While we’re over here admiring the hustle, he’s busy crushing it at a T-17 law school, so basically he’s kinda a big deal. We haven’t heard from him in a hot minute because he’s been buried way too deep in those textbooks—but luckily for us, this weekend he’s ditching the case law and trading in his textbooks for dance moves. Get ready—he’s coming to party, and we can’t wait!

Rachel, the bride’s older sister, is an absolute force of nature. Whenever Alex visits her in Miami, it’s guaranteed to be a party, no questions asked. Sure, there’s a big age (and height) gap between them, but honestly, none of that matters—because when these two are together, it just makes sense. They might not be twins, but they definitely share the same spicy personality (thanks, Dad)… along with all his hypochondriac quirks. While the rest of us are sending emails and pretending to know how Google Drive works, he’s out there making sure the lights stay on (no pressure or anything). Sure, there’s an age gap between him and Alex, but you’d never know it—because Willie’s got the heart of a kid, the humor of a stand-up comic, and dance moves that defy explanation. He’s also a proud family man, bringing that same big-hearted energy home as a husband and dad (yes, somehow he finds time to do it all). You’ll catch him marching it out on the dance floor all night with that signature giant smile—and if “Bamboleo” comes on, someone better hand him a mic and clear some space. Fair warning: you might want to pace yourself. He absolutely won’t!

Hanna and Alex met later in life—only to realize they’d been literal childhood neighbors. Fate took its sweet time, but once they finally crossed paths, it was game over. Inseparable!! From late-night LA adventures to nonstop laughs and iconic memories, Hanna has been a true ride-or-die ever since. She brings the fire, the fun, and just the right amount of chaos everywhere she goes. Make no mistake—Hanna is the party. But she also runs a tight ship. If you're not acting right, expect a little sass and a lot of direction. The only rule? Do not request “Sweet Caroline” at the reception. If it plays, she’ll be out of that venue faster than you can say “bah bah bah.”

Eli is Tyler’s cousin and currently living his best life at Cal—fully immersed in the glory years of college. Frat star? Obviously. Whether he's hitting the books or the next tailgate, Eli brings the energy wherever he goes. He's currently deciding whether to follow the family’s proud legal legacy... or betray them all by going into finance (we’re trying not to judge, but... yikes). Regardless of his future path, one thing's for sure: Eli’s bringing the good vibes, quick wit, and probably a dance move or two to the wedding. Catch him on the dance floor—likely with a drink in hand and zero stress in sight.
Salina Manibog

An island queen as well as our local chef and bartender who turns every moment into a party (and yes, the only reason Alex now loves Negronis). Salina brings the sunshine wherever she goes—whether she’s serving up poke bowls, dancing barefoot under the moon, or frolicking through the streets of LA in a boot (true story: Summer 2024 was a whole thing). She’s the wild child who could survive in the jungle with nothing but a coconut and good vibes—and she’ll definitely be the first to dive into the ocean once the party winds down. No one does it quite like Salina, and honestly... we wouldn't have it any other way.

The personal injury attorney who went to law school before he could legally drink (because apparently he enjoys suffering). He’s the guy who proudly throws around words like “verbatim”—usually incorrectly—and drops late-night YouTube facts like he's prepping for trivia night. Currently growing his hair out to match the groom’s “slick back” era (because what's friendship without synchronized goals?). Ask him to show you the inspo pic of his dad—it's unreal. As for the dance floor? Expect bold, possibly improvised moves and zero hesitation. Ben is one of one, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else to keep us legally and emotionally unhinged.

Alex and Megan met about one week before college—at a random house party in the Valley (classic LA origin story). From that night on, it was obvious: Megan was one of a kind. Alex still hasn’t fully forgiven her for trading LA sunshine for the New York hustle... but she’s working on it. Megan is effortlessly funny and has somehow turned the word “perhaps” into a full-blown personality trait. Honestly, it can’t even be said aloud without summoning her energy. She’s the kind of friend who just gets it—and you’ll definitely find her frolicking through the party, dancing the night away like it's her job.

Tyler’s college roommate and best bud for four years, and teammate on the not-so-serious intramural basketball squad (let’s just say scoring wasn’t exactly their forte). But missed shots aside, they made some of their best memories on and off the court. Rob’s got killer fashion sense (basically a walking style guide) and an undeniable love for cars. Beyond that, he’s genuinely one of the sweetest, most loyal friends you could ask for. Plus, he’s got a major milestone coming up with his own wedding in 2026! Through all the missed shots and wardrobe wins, Rob’s been right by Tyler’s side—and there’s no one better to stand with him on the big day.

Shap is truly one of a kind. Arguably one of the funniest people Alex and Tyler know (and definitely the loudest—if you hear someone talking at volume 100, yep, that’s just Shap shappin’). She’s got beauty, brains, and a sense of humor that could carry an entire Netflix special. If you catch an accent, don’t worry—Tyler and Alex hear it too. The mystery? No one else in her family has it and no one can figure out where it came from. A Shap original, obviously. Shap is also getting married in 2026—so after we party hard for our big day, we’ll be turning right around to celebrate hers. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Flying in all the way from Hong Kong, Seb (more commonly known as Sebbie2K) has been one of Tyler’s closest friends since freshman year of college. He’s now our not-so-local DJ, international man of mystery, and living proof that long-distance friendship can still come with great beats and better banter. He’s been to more Shabbat dinners than most, so trust—he’s more than ready for this Jewish wedding (horas, challah, and all). We’re still holding out hope he makes his grand return to California someday... but for now, we’re just glad he’s hopping continents to celebrate with us.

Alex and Nicky met under the infamous tree at Loyola law school, and during that time, wherever one went, the other wasn’t far behind. From late nights at the office (including some heroic toilet flood stops) to endless sushi dates, KBBQ marathons, and karaoke nights—you name it, they did it together. If you ever wonder where Nicky is now, she’s probably off on some spontaneous international trip she booked last minute or living her best life at her second home: Vegas. With Nicky, you never quite know what’s next. Oh, and Nicky swears she introduced Alex and Tyler—Tyler strongly disagrees. You decide who’s telling the truth.

Omar’s recent wedding was a full-on showcase of his wild side, and trust us, we’re counting on him to bring that energy back again. Beyond the party vibes, Omar’s an amazing friend who’s always ready to lend a helping hand when it counts.
