FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! For the most part, we are inviting only immediate nieces and nephews to our wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest" you are welcome to bring a date! Otherwise, we would prefer it to be just you.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Target and have a honeymoon fund. You can click on the Our Registry tab to check these out or find us on Target's registry website.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable! Our wedding colors are black and white so we'd love to see you in some fun patterns and colors!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have blocked off rooms at 2 different hotels! Click on the Travel tab to see all the information about how to reserve a room at either of these places.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Let us know about any allergies in your RSVP. Our caterer said they can accommodate any allergies as needed.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free street parking on the streets near the Cheney Mansion. You can also take the Green Line on the El.

Question

Are you changing your last name?

Answer

No, we are both keeping our last names as is :)
