We're getting married!

Our anniversary is the day before Stephen's birthday! Since he loves space, we went to the Adler Planetarium for our first date. Once there, we walked around together, hesitantly shared glances, and watched shows in the theaters. That evening, Stephen made us fish tacos for dinner. We watched a movie and held hands. It was a perfect day and we've been star-struck with each other ever since!

Alex woke up one Saturday morning after Stephen left early for work and found a card by her nightstand! It explained that Stephen had created a scavenger hunt with "mini proposals" that he had for her that were hidden all over our apartment. Alex had fun finding and reading all of the wonderfully thoughtful cards that were hidden in strategic places, such as the one near our shoes that said, "Will you go for a walk with me and tell me all about your day?" Each little card had a fake engagement ring attached to it! That evening when Stephen got home, he had planned a spa night for us and brought out the real ring and proposed! Alex said yes and we have been over the moon since then :)
