Alexandra loves Jesus, family, good conversations, and finding reasons to celebrate. She can often be found planning gatherings, singing loudly in the car, hiking a trail, sipping tea, laughing until she cries, or convincing people to join her latest adventure. She is blessed to be the mother of Delilah and is excited to welcome Shay and Apollo into her family. Whether through friendship, family, church, or community, Alexandra loves bringing people together and building meaningful relationships. Few things bring her more joy than encouraging others and watching God work through every season of life. Today, she gets to marry her best friend. Surrounded by the family and friends she loves, she is grateful for every chapter that led to this day and excited to begin the next one.

Shay is a born-again Christian, a space nerd of astronomical proportions, a lover of all sports, and the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone he loves. He has a career he genuinely enjoys, spending his days helping people leave their stress behind one massage at a time. When he's not serving the community through his business, you can usually find him hosting a gathering with family and friends, three-putting and slicing drives on the golf course, watching a game, or diving into a Bible study, often with his better half by his side. Shay wears many hats, but the one he wears most proudly is "Dad." He has been blessed with the opportunity to raise his son, Apollos, and has cherished every moment of the journey. That journey is about to get even better as he and Apollos welcome Alexandra and Delilah into their family. For years, Shay prayed for a partner who loved Jesus, loved family, and would build a life alongside him. God answered those prayers in Alexandra. Together, the four of them are turning a house into a home, a family into something even stronger, and creating a future filled with faith, laughter, and love. This wedding day, surrounded by family and friends, Shay gets to marry the woman of his dreams. He couldn't be more grateful for the journey that brought him here or more excited for the adventure that lies ahead.

Amy has been one of Alexandra’s best friends since they met while working together at Panther Creek Country Club when Alexandra was 19. Over the years, they became so much more than friends. They are Christmas sisters, have made detailed plans to haunt each other after they die, and somewhere along the way became family. They have laughed until they cried, cried until they laughed, and somehow managed to survive every season life has thrown their way. Some friendships come and go, but Amy has been a constant source of love, support, and fun for more than half of Alexandra’s life. Alexandra is incredibly grateful Amy is standing beside her on her wedding day.

Joey Redpath

Best Man

Shay and Joey met over twelve years ago, and ever since then, it has been rare to find one without the other. What started as a roommate situation quickly grew into a brotherhood that has stood the test of time. Joey has always been there for Shay, whether it was for late-night conversations about life, helping him move for what felt like the hundredth time, or cheering on Apollos from the sidelines at a soccer game. Their friendship is the kind where no one bothers knocking before walking through the front door, and where Apollos affectionately knows him as "Uncle Joe Joe." Joey and Shay have bonded over their shared faith, their love of sports, and countless Bears games spent fist-bumping, shouting at the television, and convincing themselves this year would finally be the year. One of the things Shay admires most about Joey is his heart. He is the kind of person who would give a stranger his last dollar, the shirt off his back, or whatever else was needed without hesitation. His generosity, loyalty, and genuine care for others make him the friend everyone hopes to have. Shay is incredibly grateful for their friendship and couldn't imagine anyone else standing beside him as his Best Man on one of the most important days of his life.

Delilah Flesch

Maid of Honor

Delilah has been Alexandra’s favorite girl since the moment she first held her. In many ways, the two of them have grown up together, sharing adventures, inside jokes, tears, triumphs, and more car karaoke than anyone should admit to. Over the years, Alexandra has watched Delilah grow from a little girl who loved rainbow unicorns and insisted on wearing fancy dresses everywhere, including the park, into the beautiful young lady she is today. More than once, Delilah arrived looking ready for a royal tea party and left covered in dirt, completely unbothered. As Shay and Apollo join their family, Alexandra loves knowing that some things will never change. She and Delilah will still sing too loudly, laugh at their own jokes, and occasionally team up to drive the boys crazy. Watching Delilah grow into the thoughtful, funny, strong, and wonderfully unique person she is today has been one of the greatest joys of Alexandra’s life. Of all the titles she has ever had, being Delilah’s mom has been her favorite. She couldn’t imagine her wedding day without Delilah standing beside her.

Apollos Hauck

Jr. Best Man

Apollos is Shay’s 10-year-old son, his one and only, and one of God’s greatest blessings in his life. From the very beginning, God’s hand has been on Apollos’s story. He came into Shay’s life at exactly the right time and has brought more joy, purpose, and love than Shay could have ever imagined. Apollos is a sweet, caring, loving, and thoughtful young man who loves his family with his whole heart. He enjoys playing soccer, video games, creating artwork, and battling invisible bad guys, which, as it turns out, is still an important responsibility for a 10-year-old boy. His best friend is his cousin Bradlee, and when those two get together, there is never a dull moment. Their adventures tend to leave everyone laughing and occasionally wondering what they are about to do next. One of the things that makes Apollos special is his heart for Jesus. He is a deep thinker with a kindness and wisdom that often surprises people twice his age. His smile lights up a room, and he has been a blessing to everyone who knows him. He is also the proud owner of a set of dimples that his dad is convinced will get him both into trouble and out of trouble someday. Shay and Apollos share a bond built on love, faith, laughter, and countless memories. It is one of Shay’s greatest privileges to be his father, and he is honored to have Apollos standing beside him today as his Junior Best Man.

Growing up with only a brother, Alexandra never knew what she was missing by not having a sister. Thankfully, she hit the jackpot when Lori became her sister-in-law. Over the years, Lori has been a role model, a friend, and a partner in making memories. From rooftop parties to tutu-clad trampoline entertainment, and from raising their children together to cheering each other through life’s milestones, she has brought so much joy to Alexandra’s life. Lori has a wonderful mix of grace, strength, and fun, and Alexandra is incredibly thankful to call her family. She is so happy Lori is standing beside her as she begins this next chapter.

Jayar Myers

J.R. has been one of Alexandra’s role models for as long as she can remember. Six years older and full of personality, he was the creative older brother who could turn almost anything into an adventure. From making home movies with friends to convincing Alexandra to be his assistant in magic shows, J.R. always had a big imagination and a talent for entertaining those around him. While all of Alexandra’s friends thought he was the cool kid, she simply knew him as her creative, loving, teasing, and protective big brother. Some of Alexandra’s favorite memories include deep, late-night conversations in the kitchen, catching up over snacks and talking about life. Through every stage of life, he has been a source of encouragement, laughter, and wisdom. Alexandra couldn’t imagine celebrating one of life’s biggest moments without him and is grateful to have him standing beside Shay on their wedding day.

Lakyn Hill

Lakyn is Shay’s younger sister. When she was born, Shay famously told his family that if his mom had a girl, he was going to throw her out the window. Thankfully, he never got his tiny hands on her because Lakyn grew into his lifelong companion and the friend who has known him longer than almost anyone else. Some of Shay’s favorite childhood memories are of the two of them playing together, whether it was laser tag battles or creating imaginary roller coaster rides with nothing more than a computer chair and a big imagination. Lakyn has a heart for God that Shay deeply admires and a wisdom that often goes unnoticed. She is one of the kindest, most loving women he knows, and he has always tried to do what any big brother would: protect her and look out for her. Her unwavering faith is inspiring, and if anyone knows how to praise God in the middle of a storm, it’s Lakyn. She is an incredible mother of two who always makes time for the people she loves. Their relationship has weathered every season of life, and through it all, they have continued to choose each other. Shay is grateful that Alexandra loves Lakyn as much as he does and is honored to have his sister standing beside them on their wedding day.

Brandon is Shay’s older brother and has always been one of the steady rocks in his life. Through every season, challenge, and milestone, they have learned how to navigate life together as brothers and friends. Some of Shay’s favorite memories come from the years they spent home alone after school waiting for their parents to get home. Whether they were arguing over who got to use the only landline phone to call a girlfriend or shooting a BB gun at things they definitely should not have been shooting in the country, they always had each other’s backs and somehow managed to keep each other’s secrets. As the older brother, Brandon was often the example Shay looked up to and wanted to follow. Over the years, that admiration has only grown. Brandon has built a beautiful family and is an incredible husband and father. Those are the qualities Shay respects most and the ones he hopes to emulate in his own life. While the years have brought new responsibilities, careers, marriages, and children, the bond between these brothers remains as strong as ever. Shay is grateful for Brandon’s guidance, friendship, and support, and considers it both an honor and a blessing to have him standing beside him on one of the most important days of his life.

When Ann introduced Jen and Alexandra nearly a decade ago, Alexandra had no idea she was being introduced to a future best friend. One of the greatest gifts from that introduction has been watching their friendship grow right alongside their daughters. As they have watched their girls grow, they have also grown in faith, patience, grace, and their walk with Christ. Alexandra loves the way God has woven their paths together through the years and how their friendship has continued to blossom. From belly-aching laughter at women’s retreats to Bible studies, field trips, line dancing adventures, and countless conversations in between, Jen has brought so much joy to Alexandra’s life. Alexandra is deeply grateful for Jen’s friendship and honored to have her standing beside her on her wedding day.

Seth came into Shay’s life while dating his sister, Lakyn. Although their relationship eventually ended, the friendship between Shay and Seth only continued to grow. Over the years, they became close friends, and the bond between their sons helped make that friendship even stronger. Seth’s son, Bradlee, and Shay’s son, Apollos, are best friends and cousins who are always excited to be together. Watching their friendship grow has been one of the many blessings that has kept Shay and Seth connected through the years. Seth is a hardworking, dependable, and caring man who is always willing to lend a hand or offer advice when it’s needed. More than anything, Shay admires the way Seth loves and cares for his son. As a father himself, Shay has a deep respect for men who put their children first. Shay and Apollos are both grateful for the love Seth has poured into their lives over the years. Shay feels blessed to call him a friend and is honored to have him standing beside him on his wedding day.

Andrea and Alexandra’s friendship began with a parent’s prayer. Andrea’s dad once told Alexandra that he had prayed for a close friend to come into Andrea’s life. About a year after Andrea moved to a small town where everyone seemed to have known each other since kindergarten, Alexandra’s family moved there, and their stories have been intertwined ever since. Together, they have navigated nearly every season of life: surviving high school, enjoying their younger years, growing deeper in their faith, and supporting one another through loss and the challenges of single parenthood. Through every chapter, Andrea has been a faithful friend. While Andrea has been enjoying married life for a few years now, Alexandra is excited that she finally gets to join her in this season. She is deeply grateful for Andrea’s friendship and honored to have her standing beside her on her wedding day.

Rylee Clayton

Rylee is Shay’s cousin from his stepfather’s side of the family. Even though they aren’t bound by blood or name, they have always shared a bond more like brothers. At family gatherings, they would seek each other out first, usually to talk sports, especially soccer. Shay likes to take some credit for Rylee’s soccer skills after years of playing one-on-one together growing up. Their childhood bond grew into a strong friendship filled with golf rounds, poker nights, and plenty of laughs. Shay loved cheering Rylee on from the sidelines during soccer games, and now he enjoys cheering him on as he builds a successful life of his own. Rylee has grown into an amazing young man with a drive to succeed. He was the first member of his immediate family to graduate from college, an accomplishment that made the whole family proud. This September, he will marry his high school sweetheart, Grace, and Shay couldn’t be happier for them. Shay feels blessed to call Rylee both family and friend and is honored to have him standing beside him on his wedding day.

Alexandra has known Clara since she was a little girl toddling around with Delilah nearly a decade ago. Through the years, she has had the joy of watching their friendship grow through pool days, birthday parties, slumber parties, Roblox game nights, and countless inside jokes. Somewhere along the way, Clara became more than Delilah’s best friend. She became like a bonus daughter to Alexandra. It has been a blessing to watch her grow into the kind, thoughtful young lady she is today. Alexandra is so grateful to have Clara as part of their lives and honored that she is standing beside her on her wedding day.

Michael Hauck

Michael is Shay’s oldest nephew and the first grandchild in the family. Shay still remembers the day his brother called to share the exciting news that he was going to be a dad. Everyone eagerly awaited Michael’s arrival, and he has been a blessing to the family ever since. These days, Michael enjoys gaming with his friends and dad, riding his bike around town, and has recently entered the dating scene. As the oldest sibling, he does a great job helping with his younger brothers and setting a positive example. Watching Michael grow from the family’s first grandchild into a kind and responsible young man has been a joy for Shay. He is grateful to have his nephew celebrating this special day by his side.

Brenna is Shay’s niece and one of the sweetest young ladies you’ll ever meet. She loves playing house and all things girly, but growing up with two brothers has taught her how to hold her own. Brenna has a heart that desires to do what is right and a love for Jesus that shines through her life. Shay believes she is destined to be an incredible mom one day, following the loving example set by her own parents and always putting family first. Her joyful smile is contagious, and Shay and Alexandra are so excited to have her as part of their wedding day.

Ludlow is Alexandra’s fun-loving, incredibly smart, creative, and sweet niece. She is the perfect mixture of sugar and spice and always keeps life interesting. Alexandra has loved spending time with her through storybooks, cookie decorating, art projects, and countless moments of imagination and laughter. Watching Ludlow grow into the wonderful little girl she is today has been such a joy. Alexandra is so grateful that Ludlow is one of their flower girls and can’t wait to watch her shine as she walks down the aisle.

Luca may only be one year old, but he has already mastered two important skills: making people smile and getting into absolutely everything. His curiosity knows no bounds. Alexandra is so excited to have Luca celebrate with them and share the important (shared) responsibility of guarding their wedding rings.
