What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 6:30pm at Agios Nicholas church. We will be doing both our wedding ceremony and son's baptism. The ceremony is approximately 30 mins and the baptism 1 hour. The church is small, so you can stand inside or outside.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are many hotels and Airbnb's available all over the island. I would suggest staying close, either in the middle of the island or near the coast on the south or eastern side of the island. Tip: The reception venue is also a hotel, allowing guests the convenience of staying overnight and enjoying the celebration without the need for transportation afterward. Do I need to convert all my money into Euros?

Answer

No, the airport will charge you a larger fee to convert cash into euros. You can use credit or debits cards everywhere. But if you would like cash you can exchange on the island for a cheaper rate at the National Bank of Greece in Chora, Kythira.

Will they bring my suitcases to my connecting flight?

Answer

No, when arriving in Athens airport since you will be flying domestic, you will need to pick up your suitcase at the baggage claim and then check in on the domestic flight floor of the airprot (upstairs). Many employees speak English in case you need help with directions.

Do I need a car or are taxi's/Ubers available?

Answer

There are very limited taxis on the island. No Uber is available. Please either travel in groups and split the rental car fare because you will need a vehicle to move around the island.

Where do I find your registry?

Answer

We have chosen not to have a registry because celebrating with you in our favorite place means more to us than any gift.
