August 12th at the very latest.
There is a pre-ceremony picnic with music and mimosas at noon. We recommend you arrive between 11:45am and 12:45pm. The doors of the church will close at 1:45pm for the ceremony.
Phoebe Needles Center is primarily a youth summer camp! Think 1990s Parent Trap with a mess hall, bunks, scenic views, and activities spread across a woodsy campus. There is a lot to explore, if your heart so desires. We will have access to trails, ranging from very easy to moderate, historic 1800s cabin, sacred stone circle, hidden tetherball court, fire pit for s'mores, and more! All of which are within a 5 minute stroll from the reception hall.
So far it's looking like high of 75 and sunny! Low of 55. It can get windy up in the mountains. Regardless of the forecast, we recommend layered clothing.
Yes! We will update everyone if we need to. :)
The day will likely be a mix of grass, wood floor, gravel, and pavement. A few moments of gently-sloped hillside and optional trails into the forest, but nothing too intense to walk on with heels, if you're used to them. Unless of course it rains intensely! Then it'll get a bit squishy outside, but we will likely move everything indoors if that happens. See previous question for rain plan. If you are interested in seeing other parts of the beautiful venue's campus, we recommend bringing shoes you don't mind getting dirty as you traipse through the woods. There is a place for outfit and shoe changes if you want to bring two sets!
It's easy! Text Alex or Oliver your requests! Please include song title and artist. Limit 3 per person. The earlier you send 'em, the better chance of them getting in the rotation.
Yes! We are planning a dinner with options for meat lovers, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free folks alike. If you have an allergy or a more specific question about dietary restrictions, please text Alex or Oliver.
Yes! Not only will there be picturesque seating areas around the venue and comfy chairs in the reception hall, there are also some nearby buildings with sofas and armchairs. If you want your own bed to rest in during the day or if you don't feel like driving back to your hotel or airbnb, there are a limited numbers of twin beds for $30/person/night. These are inside of a building directly across from the reception hall. Text Alex or Oliver if you would like to reserve one.
Yes, plenty of free parking. Limited VIP parking behind the reception hall for anybody with mobility issues.
