John Ball Zoo
Our guests can enjoy a discounted visit to the John Ball Zoo on the day of our wedding! Discounted tickets will cost $12/person and must be paid to Alex via Venmo or cash, so she can reserve these on your behalf. Guests who want to take advantage of this discount must include this in their RSVP note.
Drip Drop Cocktail Lounge
For guests arriving the evening before the big day, Drip Drop is a great cocktail lounge located on the West Side of Grand Rapids. Alex especially enjoys the espresso martini there. If you're looking for a nice place to have dinner afterward, Butcher's Union across the street has good eats!
Lookout Park
If you're new to Grand Rapids, we highly recommend taking a drive up to Lookout Park to get a great view of the city from above. Fun fact: Lookout Park is the highest point in Grand Rapids, and our venue is the second. :)
Two Beards Deli
Stop at Two Beards for lunch if you're looking for a place with delicious and fun sandwiches! Their menu options are named after famous people with great beards. They also have vegan and vegetarian options!
Grand Rapids Public Museum
For guests staying at the Holiday Inn-Downtown Grand Rapids, a visit to the public museum across the street is a great way to spend some time. There, you can learn about the history of Grand Rapids, take a ride on the carousel, or just admire the various exhibits they have to offer.
