Question

What is the Bissell Tree House?

Answer

The Bissell Tree House is owned and operated by the John Ball Zoo. It is an event center located at the second highest point in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Question

How do I get to the Tree House?

Answer

To get to the Tree House, you will park at John Ball Zoo. Once parked, you will go through the main entrance and take a right to the Funicular. Our guests will get an opportunity to ride the Funicular up to the Tree House, where the ceremony and reception will be located. This ride is wheelchair accessible and is approximately four minutes long. For guests who need additional assistance, there is an option to drive up to the Tree House. This opportunity will be limited to guests who need it for accessibility purposes only. Parking is not available directly at the Tree House. For guests who choose to spend the day at the zoo prior to the wedding, you may enter the venue directly by taking the Forest Realm trail all the way to the top.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer
