We love to take a riverwalk on the weekend. We usually start at Willamette Park and walk to the Tilikum Crossing bridge at South Waterfront, stopping at Ovation coffee, then heading back. However, you could go all the way into downtown or along the East side of the river. It is a beautiful way to see the waterfront in Portland.
We recently checked out this fun vegan bar in NE Portland. They have an awesome patio with food carts next door. We also enjoyed drinks at Radio Room and are planning to go back for brunch. (Lexie's yoga studio, Forge Hot Yoga, is also down the street if you want to try a class!)
We love to visit Cider Bite in the Pearl District on date night. Grab a flight, play some games, then head to a nearby restaurant for dinner! The Pearl District is a fun area for food, drinks, and shops.
Creo Chocolate holds a special memory for us and it is across the street from our wedding venue. They are a local, family-owned, chocolate shop and their tour is awesome. Check them out if you have time!
If you have more than a few hours, drive out to Hood River for a day trip. They have great restaurants, wine tasting, and shopping. We enjoy ice cream at Sugarpine Drive-In and the spa at Society Hotel in Bingen (you don't need to stay at the hotel to reserve a spa session). And the views on the drive are beautiful!
