Maid of Honor
Sarah is Alex's younger and most fabulous sister. Over the last 30 years, Alex and Sarah have gone from bickering little girls to the best of friends as adults. Through many long car rides full of singing duets and getting lost to vacations filled with laughter and great memories, Sarah and Alex have formed an incredible bond that goes beyond sisterhood. When Alex brought Kin, or as Sarah calls him, "Kinny-Kins", into the crazy and loud Mercer family, Sarah and Kin quickly formed a bond through their belief in layers, meticulous planning abilities, and love of all the foods. Sarah is honored and thrilled to stand beside the happy couple as they start the next chapter of their journey.
Maid of Honor
Kelsey is Alex’s younger sister. Growing up, Kelsey was often Alex’s little shadow and partner in crime when it came to shenanigans and ganging up on their sister, Sarah. Alex and Kelsey have created many memories as travel buddies and roommates on vacations throughout the years and enjoy jamming out, shamelessly, to One Direction. Kelsey can’t wait to celebrate the bride and groom on their special day.
Maid of Honor
Alex and Alex have known each other for almost 20 years. It was friends at first sight (and name)! Introduced through a mutual friend, it didn’t take long for them to hit it off and Becky to regret it. Ending up on the floor, giggling, and sharing skittles created an unbreakable bond. They’ve been taking naps on each other’s couches ever since.
Bridesmaid
Jess is Alex’s stepsister. From coffee dates to pool tournaments, Alex has always been there for Jess in true big sister fashion. Jess is currently a freshman at Kin’s alma mater, which has created a special bond between them. Nothing brings two people closer than a boli from Stuff Yer Face. Jess cannot wait to see Alex and Kin kill it as a married couple and loves them both very much!
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Alex have known each other for 9 years now. Shannon was only in 3rd grade when they met, and now they are lucky enough to call each other stepsisters. Shannon being the youngest of the siblings and Alex being the oldest, the two have a special bond. Alex once saved Shannon from being swept away to sea in Mexico and for that Shannon can never repay her. On another note, Shannon gives full approval of Kin and can’t wait to finally add a brother- in law to the bunch!
Bridesmaid
Over the years, Megan and Alex have had a few adventures together around the world but the only time Megan feared for her life when on a trip with Alex was in Peru. When they were lounging in hammocks outside their bungalow in the rainforest, a parrot named Lola came over to say hello. Lola fell in love with Alex and was angrily squawking at Megan to leave, eventually perching between the two hammocks to more appear more menacing. Eventually, Megan had to go inside to read her book so that Lola could talk to Alex one on one. Megan’s advice for Kin: be wary of any bird that makes eyes at Alex.
Best Man
Kin, otherwise known as “Big Kin”, is Kin’s older brother. Confused? I know what you’re thinking. “Why are they both named Kin?” Well, let’s just say Mom and Dad had a sense of humor. Being ten years older than Kin, Big Kin often teased his little brother as he followed him and his friends around. But when Kin got to high school, he definitely earned Big Kin’s respect, and they’ve been tight ever since. Even though they don’t always see eye to eye on things, they both can agree Alex is a welcome addition to the family, and Big Kin cannot and wait to call her Sis.
Best Man
Zim first met Kin during Kin’s freshman orientation at Rutgers in 2000, when Zim was Kin’s advisor, and not surprisingly, Kin has been a source of wise counsel ever since! Over the years Zim and Kin have had adventures they’ll never forget, both domestically and internationally, (though the details are fuzzy at best). Zim has been proud to have had Kin as a roommate, groomsman, and most importantly a trusted and loyal friend. Zim was so happy when Kin introduced everyone to Alex and even happier to see how much Kin enjoys having Alex in his life. He cannot wait to be standing by Kin’s side and to share this joyous day with both of them!
Groomsman
Edward and Kin have known one another for over 20 years. They have gone from commuter friends, to roommates, to brothers. They have watched all the live-action Transformers movies in the theaters at release, which are why these awful movies keep being made. Edward is very honored to be a part of Kin and Alex's big day. 'Till all are one
Groomsman
Jay and Kin have been friends going way back to their Livingston college days. Many, many late nights and memorable moments have been shared over the years. He lives in Lawrenceville, NJ with his wife and son. To this day he is still upset that the Groom has never given him "credit" for anything.
Groomsman
Friends, One to three is sufficient. I once lived with Kin for several months and hardly saw him, best friend I've ever had. We still never talk sometimes.
Groomsman
Mike has known Kin for around 20 years. Responds to aliases such as deer hunter, pain, mickyle, gwei-lo. When not hunting deer with his 89 Buick he enjoys saying inappropriate things that make Kin and the guys question... Why?! In the end Kin and Pain both agree Peter Weller is underutilized in Hollywood and that's what really matters. #Robokin
Officiant
Alan has been friends with Kin since his freshman year, quickly bonding over Transformers and other sorts of silly nonsense. He and wife Kristen were privileged enough to have their wedding officiated by Kin and is eager to repay the honor. He lives in Pennsylvania and firmly believes that the 1993 Steven Spielberg film “Jurassic Park” is a non-fiction documentary.
