Los Lagos Hotel, Spa & Resort
This is the hotel where the ceremony, lunch, and after party will take place. We HIGHLY recommend our out of town guests stay at least one night here (ideally the night before or after the wedding) to enjoy all the venue has to offer. A range of hot springs and pools, hiking, spa, and wet bar! It is our favorite place to stay in Costa Rica and we can't wait to share the experience with you! Our guests will receive a 10% discount on their booking. Instructions coming soon. Este es el hotel donde la ceremonia, almuerzo y recepción se va a llegar a cabo. El hotel cuenta con aguas termales, piscinas, senderos y restaurante. Si quisiera hospedarse en el hotel, así lo puede hacer. Nuestros invitados obtendrán un 10 % de cuento en su reservación. La Fortuna is about 3 hours away from the San Jose airport as well as the Liberia airport. Flights from Charlotte are generally cheaper to the San Jose airport. If you are hoping to get some beach time in during your visit, we recommend the Liberia airport as it is closer to some of the best beaches in Costa Rica. Para las personas viajando desde otro país, la Fortuna se encuentra a 3 h desde San José, así como del aeropuerto de Liberia. Normalmente, los vuelos son más baratos al aeropuerto en San José, pero si desea visitar algunas playas durante su visita, recomendamos viajar a Liberia.
Rental Car
GETTING AROUND
We recommend looking into a rental car if you plan to do any additional exploration of the country. Uber is not often available in La Fortuna so if you do not plan on renting a car, make sure you have cash (colones) to pay taxi drivers. The average trip from Los Lagos to town center is 5-10mil colones ($10-$20). Recomendamos rentar un carro si planea visitar algún lugar adicional durante su estancia en el país. El servicio de Uber no está disponible en la Fortuna. Por lo que para trasnportarse necesitará un servicio de taxi. En promedio un viaje del Hotel Los Lagos al centro de la Fortuna puede costar 10 mil colones.
