Come Celebrate

Dan's father met Alex's parents through a mutual friend when they were seated next to each other at a restaurant. Alex's mom called her that evening and said, "Alex, you need to find someone for Jim's son, he sounds so terrific!" A random dinner reservation, a spontaneous conversation, a common thread. Two people not ready at that specific moment for a new relationship later met on the other side of the country at the company they both worked for. Small worlds became smaller and coincidence created a connection. Who would've thought - life really is magical when luck and timing converge and of course, serendipity.

Dan and Alex traveled to the East Coast for the summer to spend time with family. The first stop on the family tour was Dan's dad in Bristol, Rhode Island. A little over a week into the trip, Dan planned a night out in Newport, but his cool demeanor led Alex to believe it was just another date night. Much to Alex's surprise, Dan got down on one knee and popped the question! Alex said "Yes" and then Dan whisked her off on a photo shoot, followed by champagne and a delicious dinner at Castle Hill Inn overlooking the water. Dan and Alex were able to celebrate the engagement with their entire family, first celebrating in Bristol, then Connecticut to see Alex's family, and last, but not least, Maryland to see Dan's mom. Dan and Alex are so excited to return to Bristol to celebrate with all of you!
