FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be seated no later than 11:45am.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a formal registry as we are not doing the traditional move-in after wedding day event. Instead of traditional gifts, we’ve created a fund to support our honeymoon travels and Daniel’s move to the U.S. as we start our married life together. Your kindness and support mean more to us than words can say.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for guests to dress in semi-formal / cocktail attire — elegant but comfortable. Think summer dresses, suits, or dress shirts with trousers. The ceremony and reception are both near the coast, so we recommend block heels or dressy flats instead of stilettos, and a jacket or shawl for the evening sea breeze.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a “plus one,” their name will appear on your envelope and RSVP details. If not, we’d love for you to come solo and celebrate with all of us — we promise there will be plenty of familiar faces and good company!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! There are several lovely options close to the venue: The Salutation Inn (Topsham) – Elegant and perfect for a romantic stay. The Devoncourt Hotel (Exmouth) – Seaside views and classic British charm. The Chronicle Guest House (Exmouth) – Cozy, central, and great value. You’ll find more details and links on our Travel page — we recommend booking early, as winter weekends in Devon fill up fast.
