What is the weather like?

Manuel Antonio is located in a coastal rainforest. May through November is the 'green' season, when the forests are bursting with flowers and wildlife. Plan on warm sunny mornings perfect for exploring, and frequent afternoon showers. The average high temperature in August is 80, and the average low is 72.

What should I bring to Manuel Antonio?

Answer

Manuel Antonio is a beach AND rainforest destination, so prepare for both. A pair of sandals and a pair of hiking shoes or sneakers will be helpful. Overall, Costa Rica is a very casual country, so you don’t need to over-pack. Light, comfortable clothing and basics like sunscreen and bug spray should do the trick! And then of course an outfit for the wedding!
