We totally understand that gatherings are tough right now. As a safety precaution, we have limited the guest list to comply with Alameda County & California Guidelines. We've also added a live stream option for our friends and family to celebrate with us from the safety of their homes. If you received an invitation to join us in person, but prefer to participate virtually, follow these instructions when RSVPing: 1. RSVP "I Will Not Attend" to the event titled "In Person - Ceremony and Reception" 2. RSVP "Will Attend" to the event titled "Live Streamed Ceremony" You can update your RSVP until Sunday, May 2, 2021, which is when our guest count is due to our vendors.
On April 2, 2021 California announced they are allowing wedding receptions!! As Alameda County is currently in California's Orange Tier, we must restrict our guest count. To attend a gathering, guests are required to meet one of the following: a) get a COVID test or b) complete their vaccination series by May 8, 2022 If you test positive, or have symptoms please do not attend in-person and seek medical care.
Unless you are eating or drinking, you should wear a mask. This includes guests who have received the vaccine. We will have a supply of KN95 masks available upon entry. Be mindful if taking masks off briefly for photo opportunities.
Protect yourself and our guests by practicing the following guidelines: Wash (or sanitize) your hands often. Don't touch more than you have to. Space yourself out as much as possible, at least six feet.
Ceremony seating will be spaced out in accordance with CDC guidelines. Rows will be six feet apart. Cocktail hour will also be held outdoors, with plenty of cocktail tables and seating to promote social distancing.
Most guests can expect to be seated for dinner indoors. Seating arrangements will be based on families and 'pods'. In general, most tables are limited to an average of 6 to 8 people, unless part of a larger family unit. To avoid unnecessary sharing of utensils and dishes, dinner and beverages will be served to you at your table. If you feel uncomfortable sitting indoors, let us know when RSVPing so we can seat you at an outdoor table.
Social distancing markers around typical 'high traffic' areas like the bar. The DJ will frequently remind us to stay distant, keep masks on, and sanitize.

If arriving via Uber/Lyft, you will have to show ID and be on a guest list in order to enter the gated community. If you call for an Uber/Lyft from the venue, the driver will have the name and address of where the pick-up is. When they get to the gates, as long as the driver can show address 3400 as the pick-up location, they will be allowed to go through. Bonus - you can leave your car parked at Ruby Hill should you enjoy a few too many. You'll be able to pick it up on Sunday morning.
