Let's go on an adventure to the world of Pasta & Wine! The bride and groom have done some of the legwork for you to make this happen. We have found a venue that accommodates a majority of guests and will make logistics easier. All that is required of you is to make an accommodation payment for your stay, book a flight, and grab your passport!
That choice is up to you! We have airport options available on our travel tab. Our wedding planning team can assist you in transportation (train, bus, car, etc) to the wedding site.
Please email one of our amazing planners, Giorgia de Donno, to help you with transportation logistics. Her email is: giorgia@lovestoryitaly.com
The accommodation cost at Villa Catignano will be approximately $515 USD per person. The accommodation will include breakfast every morning. If you care for Air Conditioning, it will be a separate charge that the guest will be responsible for. Each room in the Villa is private and has an en suite bathroom. Some room assignments will have adjoining living spaces that you will share with other wedding guests. This living space includes access to a small kitchen and refrigerator for any snacks or beverages you choose to purchase on your own and have at your fingertips.
Breakfast is included in your accommodation fee every morning you are at the villa. The wedding couple have paid to activate a lunch service through a local bakery where guests can individually order lunch items (sandwiches, salads, charcuterie, coffee/beer/wine) and pay by consumption. This is an option if you’d like to stay on the grounds during your visit and enjoy the villa or if you plan to head out and explore after lunch time!
Please send money to the Bride via Venmo (@Alexandra-Key94), Zelle (248.924.1195), or Wise international money transfers. If you require another way to send your payment-- please contact the Bride or MOB (248.974.9001).
While we would love for our guests to stay on property with us and enjoy the hills of Tuscany, you are more than welcome to find your own accommodation in the city of Siena. Please be advised that if you choose to stay off property, you will need to reserve your own transportation to the villa for wedding events.
There will be an option to provide details on any dietary restrictions when you RSVP for the wedding. Any other concerns regarding food can be addressed with the Bride.
✨ Dress Code: Tuscan Summer Cocktail Imagine a sunset aperitivo among olive trees and vineyards — elegant but relaxed, timeless with a touch of romance. Ladies: Colors in warm, sun-washed tones, soft florals, or classic neutrals. Linen, silk, or cotton that moves easily in the summer air. Think effortless and refined — a dress you could wear to sip wine under string lights. Gentlemen: Lightweight suits or smart separates. A linen shirt, maybe no tie, and loafers or dress shoes. Jacket optional — Tuscan chic is about ease and polish, not formality. Overall vibe: Cocktail attire with a countryside soul — polished yet relaxed, like an evening in a Tuscan vineyard at golden hour.
The dress code is formal attire, black-tie optional. This includes floor length dresses for the ladies, and a suit and tie or tuxedo for the men. If you have any questions regarding this expectation, please reach out to the wedding couple.
You will not require a Visa per se. Starting in 2026, the European Union will be requiring an ETIAS authorization beginning in 2026 for US tourists who want to visit Europe for short stays. There is a detailed explanation of this new program on our travel tab.
We will provide a link on our travel tab when the system goes live, please stay tuned!
Please see the travel note located in our travel tab to learn about the information needed when applying for an ETIAS authorization. When the system launches in 2026, you can apply via the official ETIAS portal. Beware of unauthorized third-party sites that charge extra fees.
