The Groom's personal favorite, "The Babe Ruth of Bars" as he puts it. Enjoy live music, an ocean view, the east coast's best hush puppies, and a diverse array of hand-crafted cocktails. The inside of the bar hosts a memorial to patrons' most loyal friends that are no longer with us, coining the name "Dead Dog Saloon." You won't leave hungry either as Dead Dog has the best food on the Marsh Walk.
Situated around Lake Broadway, visitors can stroll the complex and enjoy over 20 restaurants, 100 specialty shops, and a bevy of unique attractions including Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Dragon's Lair Fantasy Golf, and much more. It has something for everyone for all ages!
Great lunch spot that is close to the recommended hotels. Excellent service and the Chef, Adam Kirby, pretty much makes everything from scratch. He makes the bread, stocks, soups, sauces, even about 10 flavors of ice cream – all from Bistro 217's kitchen!
First glance you're probably thinking these shops just sell hammocks but we can promise you there's so much more! Riverboat Captain Joshua John Ward had created the most comfortable and sturdy cotton-rope hammock ever in 1889 where he later opened his Hammock Shop along U.S. 17 in Pawleys Island. While his shop was gaining a lot of attention due to people admiring his weaving, other local shops started to pop up. Now you can find this quaint little village that has fashionable clothing, shoes, handcrafted collectibles, jewelry, coastal inspired treasures, wine, gifts, candy, specialty art, gourmet kitchen items and more.
