I don’t live in Texas! What’s the best way to get there?
Answer
Thank you so much for traveling so far for our big day - we’re so excited to see you! We recommend flying into George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) or William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). Both airports are approximately 20-30 minutes away from our wedding venue.

What is the best way to get around Houston?
Answer
You will have several transportation options including ride-sharing services, Uber and Lyft, and various rental car options. If you’re wanting to go the rental car route, we included IAH & HOU airport car rental links on our 'Travel & Stay' page. Alternatively, we highly recommend using Turo - which is also available for pickup at IAH and HOU airports. What is the dress code?
Answer
Black-tie optional. Tuxes or suits for the guys, and floor-length or formal cocktail dresses for the ladies! Spring colors encouraged.

Are kids welcome?

Although we love all your kiddos, our wedding is going to be an adult-only event so that all guests can relax & enjoy. Thank you in advance for understanding!

What time does the ceremony start?
Answer
Our ceremony will start at 6:00 PM sharp in the art gallery. We ask that guests please arrive to the venue between 5:30 and 5:45 PM to be seated.

Will there be parking available for the ceremony & reception?
Answer
Yes! The hotel will have complimentary valet services available for our guests.

Will the ceremony & reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony & reception will both take place at La Colombe d'Or Hotel. Our ceremony will take place indoors, cocktail hour outdoors, and reception both outdoors (weather permitting) and indoors. There will be heaters outside if needed!

Will there be food and drinks at the reception?
Answer
Yes; there will be an open bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and dessert! We will have gluten free and dairy free options available.
