Unfortunately, we weren't able to get a block of rooms but I have put together a list of good recommendations.

Travel Note

Location!

- If you want walking distance either downtown or Old Mill District is your best bet. - Personally, I would not stay in a hotel/motel on 3rd street (near safeway/albertsons). Its a very busy street and sometimes not the best crowd. **For cheaper hotels, the next biggest town that is cheaper in Redmond. It is about 20 min drive north of Bend. I haven't spent much time there so don't have a lot of recommendations on good streets/areas.

Hotel

Hilton Garden Inn Bend

425 Southwest Bluff Drive
Bend, OR 97702
 (541) 617-6111

- In an outdoor shopping center (Old Mill District is kind of our 2nd downtown area) - Lots of restraurants/breweries and shops in walking distance. - Pretty much right on the Deschutes River. - About a 1 mile walk to historic downtown Bend.

Hotel

Hampton Inn & Suites Bend

730 Southwest Columbia Street
Bend, OR 97702
 (541) 388-3000

- Across the river from Hilton Garden. - Same amenities just a bit further away. All things still in walking distance. - Right across the street from the river, a grassy park, and a dog park.

Hotel

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bend

300 Northwest Franklin Avenue
Bend, OR 97701
 (541) 317-9292

- Right on the outskirts of historic downtown. - Walking to distance to everything food, shops, breweries.

Hotel

Riverhouse on the Deschutes

3075 North Highway 97
Bend, OR 97703
 (541) 639-3481

- Right on the river. - Have to drive to everything (further down 97)

For all the days along the way
