A great family friendly area with a big grass lawn, yummy beer, and good food!
This is a great little grassy area close to downtown that is right along the river. There is a dirt walking/running trail that goes along side or is a great picnic/park games spot! (also the place we took our engagement photos if you want to go on an Alex and Nathan relationship tour!!)
If you are looking for a great day trip spot, Crater Lake National park is about 2.5 hours away with lots of hiking and beautiful scenery. FYI it does cost to get into the park!
Bend is known for its breweries. You can find the ale trail on https://www.visitbend.com/bend-ale-trail/ and enjoy a day of tasting and great beer gardens.
Hiking trail to a great waterfall. This trail is up Forest Service Road 4603, is about 30 minutes from Bend to the trailhead, and about a 6.5 mile hike out and back.
A short walk uphill to get to a scenic overlook in the middle of town! About a mile walk up and a mile walk back down, this butte is right in town and has a beautiful compass pointing to each mountain around you.
