Hawk Rock Overlook
This is one of our favorite local hikes! It is about 2.7 miles out and back with 700 feet elevation. It is a little more on the difficult side but the view at the top is amazing (Molly would agree)!
Ever Grain Brewing Co.
This is one of our favorite breweries in the area! It has a very relaxed atmosphere and their food and drinks are amazing! You have to try the brisket nachos and pair it with either a Sorbetto (Megan’s favorite) or a Juice Juicy (Alex’s favorite)! Enjoy!
The Millworks
This is our favorite “nicer” place to go. It is in harrisburg but has a private parking lot so it’s easy to get to! It’s in a beautiful building and we love walking through the local art exhibits while waiting for our table. Their menu changes according to the season but is always amazing! The “perfect stranger” from here is Megan’s favorite cocktail of all time!
Hidden Still Spirits
This is Alex’s favorite place for a nice dinner! Their cocktail list is endless! If you’re in the mood for a high end meal with locally made spirits, this is the place for you!
Vibrant - a Christian Church
Come enjoy a service at Megan & Alex’s church. It is nondenominational and offers a 8am, 9:30am and 11am service so you can choose which time works best for you! They do provide childcare during the service and there is always fresh coffee available (thank goodness!) Outside, you will find a large adventure park playground which can perfectly exhaust your kids for your long or short drive home :)
Hersheypark
Enjoy a day at the well known Hershey Park! There are rides for everyone and you leave smelling like chocolate, what could be better!? You can also book a treatment at the spa to relax after a very fun wedding (we know you’ll be sore from all the dancing!)
Harrisburg Senators
The senators have home games this weekend and play Thursday-Sunday! You can catch a game and explore city island, play some mini golf, grab a drink at the Harrisburg Beach Club or ride the train around the island!
