The LIRR can take you to Greenport, NY, which is where we recommend staying. For guests that are flying into JFK Airport, you can take the LIRR from the airport (AirTrain JFK to Jamaica Station) to Greenport Station, which is located in the heart of Greenport and walking distance to many hotels including The Harbor Front Inn. Transportation from Jamaica Station to Greenport Station is approximately 2.5 hours and usually requires a transfer at Ronkonkoma Station. NYC to Greenport train services depart from Penn Station with a transfer in Ronkonkoma as well. The journey from Penn Station to Greenport Station, including transfers, takes approximately 3h 45m.
