Hotel
If you’re looking to stay close to the venue, the Courtyard by Marriott Northgate is just about 10 minutes away, making it a quick Uber ride to the wedding. We do not have a block of rooms, so we highly encourage you to book as soon as possible before things book up.
House Or Rental
We encourage you to consider Airbnb or VRBO rentals if you're not finding what you're looking for in a hotel. Oftentimes, you can find more affordable prices through these sites and may have more flexible payment options that don't require you to pay the total cost up front.
Flight
For those of you flying in, the primary airport in the area is Sea-Tac, which is just about 20-35 minutes south of Downtown Seattle. Most travel booking sites and airlines will let you book a flight roughly one year in advance, so don’t wait to book yours if you can get a good deal now! Just be sure to check the refund/cancellation policies (just in case!).
Travel Note
Parking can be expensive and limited in Seattle, especially when you get closer to downtown. We highly recommend researching parking options in advance and planning for traffic. Public transportation is a quick and easy option if you want to avoid parking and navigating city streets! Parking at the wedding venue will be extremely limited. We strongly recommend taking public transportation (Uber/Lyft) or carpooling. All parking at the wedding, unless otherwise instructed, will be street parking in the neighborhood.
Travel Note
If you're looking to be as close to the ceremony venue as possible we recommend: Shoreline, Queen Anne, Fremont, Ballard, Northgate, Green Lake, or Magnolia. If you're looking to be in the heart of everything, we recommend: Belltown (close to Pike Place Market and the Great Wheel). You'll be surrounded by restaurants, shops, and all of Seattle’s hot spots and tourist destinations. If you're looking to be closer to the airport, we recommend: Tukwila, Kent, or Burien. Be sure to scope out the surrounding area on Google Maps beforehand, we are happy to look into the area for you, as well! Like any big city, some areas are nicer/safer than others. If you would prefer to be outside of the city, we recommend: Shoreline (North), West Seattle, or Redondo Beach (South). These neighborhoods offer a calm and relaxing neighborhood feel, while still being just a 20-35 minute drive from the venue (depending on traffic).
Travel Note
-Uber/Lyft -Ferries -Link Light Rail (cheapest and easiest way to get Downtown from the airport if you aren't renting a car) -Seattle Center Monorail -West Seattle Water Taxi (will take you to and from the Alaskan Way Waterfront in Downtown Seattle to West Seattle, where it will drop you off right at Marination Ma Kai and Salty's)
Travel Note
You might be able to get lucky here and there, but we recommend making reservations at all of your dinner locations in advance to avoid the wait. In the peak of the summer, restaurants in Seattle can have waits of an hour or more, especially with limited capacity during Covid-19. Trust us...book ahead.
Travel Note
We want everyone to enjoy themselves and celebrate, but your safety is far more important to us. Uber and Lyft are always great options. We want you to celebrate with us all night long without having to worry about how you'll get home!
