Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Libby Aldridge and Alex Strom
We hope you take the time to explore charm city while you are here! The city is relatively small and very accessible by Uber/Lyft. Street parking can be hard to come by in many of the historic neighborhoods. Some of our favorite things to do and places to visit include:
Grab a coffee

Grab a coffee

For those staying at the Inn at the Colonnade - Bird in Hand is a great coffee shop/bookstore just a short walk away through the Johns Hopkins campus. For those staying at Hotel Indigo - Cafe Fili is an amazing coffee/breakfast/lunch spot just a few blocks away. If you are lucky they may be making their colorful lattes!

Walk around Fells Point and along the Harbor Path

Walk around Fells Point and along the Harbor Path

Baltimore, MD

Fells Point is a beautiful neighborhood on the water - think cobblestone streets and old bars and restaurants - that sets you in a good point to wander around the walking path that goes around the entirety of the harbor. Head left and you will approach the Canton neighborhood or head right and you will approach Federal Hill. The Pendry Hotel is a good destination to use as a starting point.

Grab brunch at Bunny’s Buckets & Bubbles

Grab brunch at Bunny’s Buckets & Bubbles

801 South Ann Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

One of our favorite brunch spots! Great food, fun atmosphere, and delicious cocktails. They do take reservations! Located in Fells Point - we suggest you also walk around while you are here.

Go shopping in Hampden

Go shopping in Hampden

Baltimore, MD 21211

Hamden is an eclectic neighborhood full of local shops and restaurants. The Charmery is one of our favorite ice cream places and the Food Market has yummy food! Start at the intersection of 36th Street and Keswick and wander "The Avenue" (36th) from there. This is close to the Inn at the Colonnade if that is where you are staying!

Stroll around Patterson Park

Stroll around Patterson Park

Baltimore, MD

Patterson Park is a beautiful park with lots of walking paths. A good way to start here is to plug in Bmore Licks, grab yourself an ice cream, and head across the street into the park to start exploring.

Walk around Historic Mount Vernon

Walk around Historic Mount Vernon

Baltimore, MD

This neighborhood is full of historic buildings and museums, including the Walter's Art Museum and the George Peabody Library. The Hotel Indigo is located in this neighborhood if that is where you are staying! A great bar/dinner spot here is the Ash Bar.

Have breakfast at Spoons

Have breakfast at Spoons

24 East Cross Street, Baltimore, MD 21230

Another one of our breakfast favorites! They do not take reservations so get there early if you can! This is located in the Federal Hill neighborhood, which is another great spot to walk around. There are lot of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops here.

Check out the National Aquarium

Check out the National Aquarium

501 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202

The National Aquarium is located in the Inner Harbor and is also on the walking path. Even if you don't go in it is a good destination to enter to get to the Inner Harbor itself. This is our more touristy area.
