Q & A

The Wedding Website of Libby Aldridge and Alex Strom
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 6pm. Please arrive no later than 5:45pm to find your seat.

Question

How should I get to the event?

Answer

The best option is to use Uber or Lyft to get from where you are staying to the Baltimore Museum of Art. Ride share services are abundant in the city! If you are staying at the Inn at the Colonnade (and your footwear choice allows) it is a beautiful half-mile walk to the Baltimore Museum of Art through the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. There is paid street parking and a small outdoor parking lot at the museum ($9 evening rate) if you are driving. We will provide transportation to Old Westminster on Sunday! Details on exact timing can be found on the Events page of our website.

Question

Is the museum wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! For wheelchair access to the reception please use the Zamoiski East Entrance on the right side of the building.

Question

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our hope is to have to the ceremony outside on the West Lawn of the Baltimore Museum of Art with the cocktail hour and reception indoors. Weather and daylight will determine if the ceremony will need to be moved inside!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are encouraging all guests to stay at one of the two hotel blocks as listed in the Travel section. We would love our friends and family to have more opportunities to spend time together plus we will be coordinating transportation to the brunch on Sunday from these hotels!

Question

Will the museum galleries be open?

Answer

The permanent collection galleries will be open. However, the other galleries will not be open during the event. The museum is free to the public and open Wednesday–Sunday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. if you would like to see the full galleries another time during your visit.

Question

Can I bring a date? My kids?

Answer

Your invitation and online RSVP will indicate if you have a +1. Oversights happen and things change since we made the guest list. If your invitation does not say "and Guest," but you are in a serious relationship and would like to bring your partner, please contact Libby! We want everyone to have a great time and celebrate love! As much as we love your kiddos we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception except for immediate family. As we know you will be traveling from out of town we are happy to make connections to nurse friends to help arrange for childcare. Please send us an email (aldridgestrom@gmail.com) if you are in need of a sitter and we will help coordinate! Little ones are invited to join us for brunch on Sunday.
