What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RVSP by Friday, August 1st, at the latest! Our caterer will need the final guest count by this day.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code will be Semi-Formal attire. If you get confused or anxious like us: Gentlemen, please wear dress pants and a dress shirt- feel free to accessorize with a blazer or tie! Ladies, throw on your favorite cocktail dress or dressy separates with some cute shoes!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children are wonderful, but parents deserve a break every so often. Thus, the reception is for adults only. Exceptions might be made for those travelling from out of state. Should we bring our pets?

Answer

We adore your furry friends, but unfortunately, this will be a people-only dance floor. We have seen too many dogs almost get crushed while Grandma was bustin' a move and would hate to have that happen on our special day.

Will there be a Shuttle Service after the Reception?

Answer

We are working with vendors to find options for an end of night transportation for you. This will be updated when we get everything set in stone. We do know the shuttle will only be traveling to one of the hotels. If you'd like to utilize the shuttle service, please book a room at the Holiday Inn Alexandria.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are two parking lots. The first is by the reception barn. The second is by the ceremony area and lake. Please drive and park in the second lot by the lake for the ceremony. You will be able to drive and park by the reception barn after the ceremony.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If the bourbon bottle we buried holds true, the weather will be beautiful and we will have the ceremony outdoors. If the old wive's tale is incorrect, we will be having the ceremony indoors. The reception will be indoors regardless of weather.
