How long does my passport need to be valid for?

Answer

Your passport needs to be valid for 6 months post your return travel date - highly recommend double checking your expiration dates to be safe! (Ex: if you are leaving Austria on July 27th, 2026, your passport cannot expire before January 27th, 2027.)

Can I arrive earlier or stay later?

Of course! If you can, we definitely recommend spending time exploring other parts of Austria, as well as the neighboring countries.

Wiener Schnitzel: Very thin, breaded and pan fried cutlet made from veal, pork, or chicken Frittaten Soup Zwiebelrostbraten: Roast beef topped with fried onions and a sauce from the drippings Käsespätzle: Pasta with a creamy mixture of melted cheese Kärntner Nudeln: A dish unique to the province of Carinthia. Pasta pockets stuffed with a mixture of cheese, herbs, and potatoes. While you are welcome to bring your kids on the trip & to the other events over the weekend, we kindly request that there are no kids at the ceremony or reception due to venue capacity.
